Day +7.
For a variety of reasons, my wife and I decided this was not the right time to do a planned upgrade of our car. I notified the dealer about that today and I must say they responded very well to our decision.
What I am surprised at though, is how sad I feel about it.
I mean, it's just a thing. It's always fun to have a new "thing", but my sadness seems a bit much, even to me.
In other news, work went fine today. I had 108 unread email messages in the morning and only 8 by the time I left a few minutes ago, even with over half the day taken up with meetings.
No progress on the research side today, so I'm going to do some code studying tonight.
